Waiting by the Trial Room at Bangalore Central

Yesterday, I reluctantly towed with my partner to Bangalore Central. Mission was to buy lingerie and tops. After scanning and wading through the extra size section, she greedy picked couple of extra large cups & tops for trial. Next, I had to dutifully wait with her handbag by the ladies trial room.

I’ve to tell you, Bangalore Central’s ladies trial room is next to the ladies lingerie section. All around are bras of all sizes (a,b,c,d), shapes, colors and purpose.

While I waited nervously, I had company. There were couple of similar husbands or boyfriends waiting to see their maidens in their new attire. It’s a bit awkward feeling, esp when the lady attendants watch you suspicious eyes.

Yes, I looked more like a pervert with my eyes falling on those love-ables and Jokey’s. Have even been in such a fix? With nothing much to fiddle or look, I just thought of narrating my plight and represent other phonies like me….

Look at what I found for you: Collective noun for bras.

October Fest at palace Grounds

Today (Sunday) I went for October Fest (Beer carnival) at Palace grounds, Bangalore. Today was the last day, and I had doubts on the hype. But when I saw the crowd, the music, revelry, I felt it couldn’t have been better. Most of the fellas & young girls were sporting beer gadgets ( helmets, caps, beer containers, big Germans caps) floated with ‘beer grace’.

From one quite corner, we both sipped barley water to our heart’s content.

Along with the revelers, there were many angels and hallowed babes. Yes, I’m talking of girls wearing angel wings and hallo crowns. It was nice to see them in their jolly mood. Also, it was funny to watch angels smoking. Well, another new heavenly sight. : )

Thankfully, Mr Kingfisher for giving orders to the cops to give open road to beer spirited drivers. It was a safe passage at night, with no nagging cops. Thank you Dr Vijay Mallya for all the spirited efforts to make Bangalore rock!

Coffee & Mutton omelette at Koshy’s

It’s a routine for us to visit Koshy’s after Sunday’s evening mass at St Patrick church’s. In a typical visit, we would have coffee, sometimes we end up having bread toast or sandwich. But, today for a chance we had mutton omelette. A bill which should have been inside Rs 40 swelled to Rs 180.

So, how did the price shoot up? It’s the value addition and packing. And, this takes me to another question: What value are you adding to (your offering/others)?

Sunday Mass at St Patrick Church Bangalore

Add caption

Today is Mission Sunday. Today Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras conducted the mass. As usual, I reached the church after 11.00. Luckily, I squeezed myself next to a beautiful lady. But she was too engrossed in prayer, that I too felt holy, holy….

Can’t recollect on Reverent’s message. I was disturbed by a red hair old lady who was reading Bible loudly behind me.

As a routine, me and my partner went to Koshy’s after the mass. These days, it’s a regular practice to visit Koshy’s restaurant, order a pint beer and a starter, savor it for some time and then reach home for lunch.

Beer Galore at October Fest Banaglore

Beer and Music Fest ( Indian version of October Fest)

Another beer extravaganza is happening right now at Bangalore’s palace grounds. Kingfisher is not sparing any media to promote this beer-o-rock show. Show tickets for the October weekend are going around Rs 400, plus all the beer you consume. I bet the whole of Bangalore’s beer and rock lovers will wind at Palace ground.

Lawless Side of Bangalore’s Midnight Bar Curfew

Last night I was at Extreme Sports Bar, Indira Nagar. Just as I left by 11:30 I saw a scuffle between a young chap and a cop. This fellow in an inebriated state was shouting and a merciless cop was punching him like a gym bag. I felt very bad for this youngster and felt pity for the rouge behavior of the cop. While you can blame the dunk, cops(law keepers) should exercise restraint before he uses his fist on a young fella who come to unwind on a Friday night.

Who’s to blame. I put it squarely on this stupid law. Well then we support such stupid law making Govt to stay on and on… Thank God, it’s a banana republic.

Blame it on me. I didn’t Vote.
