Waiting for the Mango season

Mango Season
As every mango season approaches, I get that unexplained craving to see and relish the taste of juicy pulp of home grown mangoes . Now yet another season is back with young buds of hope.

There’s no other fruit as majestic, and as delicious as mangoes. I bet you too will second that thought. Right now, I’ve to wait a bit long, for the hope to bore fruit.

Happy Sari Sexperience

Sari – a feminine attire

Today while leaving for work, I was sari-stuck by this sight of a smart, lively girl dressed in sari. I’ve seen her around in my locality, but today she radiated an extra WOW. Thanks to the her attire, she got transformed from a typical chic to one Indian nari.

, how did this sari magic shot her appeal, gave that doze of ‘femininity’? Usually she wears figure hugging tee shits and jeans that robbed her of the soft edges. Today in this new avatar, I couldn’t take my eyes off her, despite the fact that she was escorted by her buddy looking hubby.

These days sari sightings are rare in Bangalore. In IT companies, which are full of 20 something, sari are becoming as scarcer as friendly smile on our roads . Why, you may ask. The answer mostly centers around convenience factor.

Recently, there was a big verbal attack on our MP Sasi Tharoor who wrote in a daily about the topic of sari and women. Read Sasi’s article “Save the Sari from a Sorry Fate“.

Back in Trivandrum and more in Hyderabad, it’s easy to spot ladies in saris. Last time when I went to a bank, I was enamored by the sex appeal of the teller. She had tacitly worn sari, a tad bit low to kill  my drudgery of waiting for my turn!

Share your fascination towards sari (if you’re a man) or tell me the (delights and plights) if you are a women!

Cheers,

Charles

In Kali Yuga (digital age- my version ), we impersonate many avatars. Your external look is a withered shadow of your real self. Yes, we are more masked than we were a decade ago.

Blame it on rising snob attitude, or fetish for material goods, or corporate life. We’re like pendulum oscillating inside one box, and that our own.

So, how do I rate myself? If you care, I’m one lazy, disorganized old fart, an arm chair dreamer, a man spouting with crazy ideas.

Meet Over A Coffee!

Coffee & Conversation

One of my aim of writing these blog post is simple – connect with people, share a cup of tea or share ideas. I believe that these worlds and thoughts shared on this blog, could be a starting point for other people to see my thoughts.

More than Facebook, it’s blog that tells the big Story!
I’ve failed at Facebook, Twitter or Google+. Reasons is simple, I’m not just able to connect with people. But, with blog, I’m happy to connect in real with many people. Probably, this platform provides the right canvas to put in black and white.

Connect with me!
Let’s meet over a coffee if you too have the same thought of meeting a random stranger for a coffee. It’s a chance meeting to know someone else, apart from the known connection.

You can reach me by mail  bcc2charles@gmail.com or call me at 99.00.11.49.82. And, there’s Facebook to see some portions of my story.

Here’s a bit about me here!.

Tsumani – Signs of times

Washed away: Where there was once a coastline populated with homes and factories, powerful waves triggered by the tsunami devour anything in their path. Only a scattering trees remain
Another image of the ravaging power of Tsunami pushing its way to the main land. It’s hard to believe how that a 13ft wave can cause so much damage in life. I can see the helplessness of Japs but they are know to spring back to life.

But how will we Indians face such a big catastrophe. Is there any agency in India which will act or take control of similar situation. I better pray to God that nothing of this scale happen to Mother India or we are doomed forever…

The Green Parry toffee

While reading “The God Of Small Things” I’m hitting on few raw memories forgotten under the cloud of time. I’ve just reached around 100 pages in this book. Author Ms Arundhati opens up with blunt expression on typical Mayalaylee characters, life and about the communists.

Oh, she found it easy to talk about balls and melons. I wonder how she choose to use those vivid expression unfolding inside ladies loo –  “Hers” in the talkies. And there is about the sweets I’ve forgotten. Those green parry’s sweets I used to crush under my sweet teeth. Unfortunately it’s these very sweets ( parrys muttai) that took most of my sturdy crushers…

I wonder if any one remembers these green packed sweets. Just like somber characters of this book, Vellya Paapen, Eastha and Paradise Pickles, I too have lost these memories long back.

Well, each person reads books through their eyes, filtered by their thoughts, comes to their own conclusion.

If you’ve any opinion to share about this book, then pls call me. I love to hear.

Away from Cricket frenzy

All my Indian brothers and sisters are neck down in cricket frenzy. I too were a part of this tribe, but now I’ve distanced from the this lot.

Is it b’cos I’ve aged or b’cos some other thoughts have clouded my mind. Whatever, it may be, It’s a big relief to stay out and watch the excitement without feeling the pain of loss or watch cricket with subdued feelings.

Just like Cricket maze, we go through different ebb on different passions. Sometimes it takes too much place in our mind, but it later fade away from you without you realizing it.How I wonder the passion I had towards my girlfriends, or how close with few friends in my life. Now in a span of few years, all those has changed and new passions has replaced.

I wonder how long we will go on changing our taste, passion in life? Will a new thing replace the old or will it sustain throughout your life. Life is a great mystery that only time will tell. I hope I have something to be preoccupied at all stage of life.
