So, you have decided to spend your vacation in Goa. Next, obvious thing on mind would be to book ticket and hotel accommodation in Goa. But once you’re in Goa, what have to decided to do or explore? Do you have an itinerary to follow or you are just like me when it comes to planning a trip.
We often wonder how we can spend our vacation doing the best, or even doing nothing in a place like Goa. There’re many way to unwind in Goa, but only few options are visible to most of us. It this quest, that made me write this blog post.
- Soak your feet in the Arabian sea…numerous beaches right from popular beach Baga
- Get yourself a feet massage from one of the feet parlours
- Drink Fenny to wild abandon… It has a different kick, a different flavor
- Go shack hopping…drinking one pint at one joint
- Get lucky, spot topless westerners taking sun bath 🙂
- Hire a vehicle and drive to the unexplored spots in Goa
- Visit St Peter church or any numerous church around Goa
- Join the milling crowd at the Sunday market
- Get a relaxing massage by the beach
- Get inked in Goa
- Go for a local site seeing conducted by Goa tourism
- Learn Goan cuisine by attending Goan cooking class at Siolim house or
- Meet and talk to a Goan couple …learn more about their life & more
- Wake up early to go for road trip or just walk by the misty sea shore
- Try out pork vindaloo, sarpotal or other authentic Goan dish ( Batti Village)
- Try out sea sport – most beaches has para gliding, boat ride, etc
- Go for crab hunting or fishing
- Drink beer from morning …try out all the small local beer joint and strike a conversation with locals
- Explore the noctural life in Goa to the fullest – More than Tittos or Mojos, try out local rave parties – Be careful on joining groups you’re not familiar
- Get lucky – Join a overnight casino at one of the floating casino joints
- Visit Panaji – Visit museum, walk by the pavement overlooking the harbor
- Experience pleasure pill – Get some weed or some happiness pill
- Explore old cemeteries in Goa
- For a trance fans, a late night trace party would be an ideal trip
