Root of all Evil: Sex Deprivation

Sex in Life

Again it’s my hypothesis, which you may or may not agree. It’s about sexual depravity and its relationship with aggression.

  • What advice will you give to your partner with extra libido?  Do you ignore it?
  • If you’re a widower or widow.. how do you satisfy your sex drive? Do you bottle it?
  • As an spinster how do you contain your sexual overdrive? Suppress it?

As a middle class Indian citizen, we have limited means to let our libido out. We pretend, we cover it, we do try it out.

What about Sex for Widows and Widowers in India

Are these people destined to tread a sexless life?
Why are they expected to contain all natural urges?

As a widow or divorcee or a spinster, what are your options to enjoy a healthy doze of sex? How do you quench your natural desires? So, here’s my suggestion on sexual freedom…

  1. Buy a sex tool or build one. Here’s a DIY sex toy book ( starting with motor tooth brush)
  2. Try meeting new people. Probably, you’ll get a partner for life
  3. Go for good body massage. If lucky, you get a happy ending too
  4. Go online. Post profiles and interact with like minded people

Meetup at Hard Rock Cafe Bangalore

Inside HRC Bangalore

I’m a typical pub goer in Bangalore with little loyalty with any pubs in  Bangalore. Like me, most pubs do very little to bring in attract repeat customers. In short, not loyalty programs.

At one time, I frequented Tavern Inn at Museum Road, Bangalore. When Tavern got diluted, I switched loyalty to Hard Rock Cafe Bangalore. And, now 100ft Indira Nagar is the buzz with many waterholes lines in both sides of the road.

Now for some reasons, I’m used to frequent HRC, B’lore. Maybe, b’cos I met few interesting people here, and then connected through Facebook.

What’s so Special about Hard Rock Bangalore
As a regular, I just got overused at hearing the same YMCA song. Also the dance sequence is quite the same. For a time time visitor, it could be a new to see the YMCA dance. But the novelty of it soon wears off when you see it for another zillion times.

Marketing Tips – Areas of Improvement
Another marketing suggestion to HRC B’lore or Hyderabad, why don’t you folks collect visiting cards of customers and send SMS reminders or alerts. I’ve seen your fish bowl with few cards at the table, but why should I drop my card there. Not in the last three years, has anyone asked for my email address or phone number. What’s the kind of marketing these people in hospitality business do is my question? Are they taking customers for granted, thinking people will walk in when they open their door? Hope it works that way!

What’s Good About Bangalore Hard Rock
I love the building, the granite walls, the memorabilia of stars, and the signature dishes. Check out the HRC menu for more info.

What I do at Hard Rock Cafe Bangalore
As a regular at HRC B’lore, I just watch the floating crowd of B’lore, the expats who come with Indie chicks, and bored freaks like me eyeing other people inside this cafe.Sometimes, I get a chance to meet single chicks or those who are not escorted by grumpy boyfriends.

Most times I stand by the long bar counter, immerse myself in my little world with more beery thoughts. With nothing else to do, I lazily watch the chicks who are apparently escorted by her boyfriend and his friend, or whites eyeing Indian girls, and nou·veau riche folks flaunting big mobiles.

How to reach Hard Rock Cafe Bangalore?
It’s situated at Anil Kumble Circle, very close to  Koshy’s Restaurant. If you are new to Bangalore, tell the cab or auto driver any of these landmarks. If you’re near MG Road or Brigade road, Bangalore, then HRC Bangalore it’s just a 10 min walk.

Meetup at HRC Bangalore
If you’re looking for buddy buddy to chat, then you got me. I usually hang here during Saturday’s. Let’s have a drink, share a tale or two, or just spend time chit-chat with a happy heart. 🙂

About me – I love meeting new people in Bangalore, exchange ideas, or just talk about the uniqueness of places and share travel episodes. My interest shuttles from digital marketing, to picking curios from shops to outdoor activities.

Feel free to email me at bcc2charles@gmail.com or msg or call me at 99.00.11.4982. Check out my Facebook page too. We can connect.

Differentiate OR Die

Differentiate or Die

World has changed in front of our eyes. Companies that were formidable has crumbled down in no time. In a world of choices, consumer holds all the aces. For instance in an average store there are more than 40,000 products all eyeing for the customer’s shopping cart.

So, in this competitive era, how do you stand out with your product or service. How do you reckon you get the attention you deserve? Why should they hire you or take your word?

Answer by friend lies in differentiation. It’s a tough course, but that’s the only way to survive in this ruthless competitive world. Adapt fast to the demands of your customer and you have a chance to stand out in the crowded marketplace.

Christmas Eve Thoughts

It’s Xmas day, a day that comes with tons of sweet remembrances. Every time we celebrate Xmas it has evoked different vibes. This time, it’s again special.

Today, I’m lucky to spend my Xmas with my family and in my hometown. Today, we both have taken over the kitchen. Ladies are taking rest and I’m happy to this job in cleaning, cutting and giving all assistance to her.

What else do Xmas recount. Many, many tales, many faded events and people who had left me ..
One event that often comes to my mind is the carols. The small team that used to go around singing carols…. Yes, it seems so far away, and these xmas songs from the streaming site brings me back those sweet little moments gone-by.

Grief And Remorse

Last week my otherwise normal life was broken with the news of her death. My Mom broke the sad news between her tears.

I knew that she has a bad tumor which had got her entire system. The vet, Mrs who stays close to my house had told my Mom that there’s little hope of her surviving this quarter. But when I heard this news at office, I just couldn’t think of anything else, but of the time when it was alive and running around.

After this, I also felt remorse of not spending time with her when she was not keeping well. I just ignored her while she lost her shine of her coat. It’s human nature to ignore when someone is not in their prime. I’m guilty and I feel pangs of guilt of not tending her. Only my Mom took all the pain to feed her with tender coconuts and also spending all the money of vitamin.

Now after living with us for over 8 years, Terry departed to another world where I too will join someday. As of now I have to live with this grief.  For solace, I’ll have to look at her pictures, the videos that had captures the best moments she had spend with us.

Faceless Jokes

faceless Cartoons

After a long gap, I revisited Yahoo mail box. This is my first main e-mail client, and I wonder why I deserted it for Gmail. Recently Yahoo had done some changes to the look and feel and introduced some extra widgets to the mailing platform.

So, here’s two really funny ‘faceless Cartoons’ forwarded by my friend. The mail had many such good ones, I ‘ll reserve it for further posts. – Images source: Bruce Sutherland – July 2009

Enjoy Faceless Cartoons.

Similarities in People

Today while flexing myself at the Indira Nagara Park, near CMH road, I chanced to see other people having some similarity with folks I knew in my life.

Some had striking similarities is looks, while few had similar body features. One young fellow who was walking in front of me, had the same look of the popular gay who lived in my neighborhood. Another old man who keeps chatting in queer language with his wife had the lips of Jack Nicholson who acted as Joker in Batman Movie.

Apart from the people from the park, I keep meeting people at the road who had some uncanny resemblance with people from yester years.  Recently I saw my Dad look alike on the road. It’s strange that I still have strong image of Dad in me, even-thought he passed some 20 years ago.

So, do you find such instances in your daily life? Are you quick to spot some little features in others? Pls shed your thoughts on this in the comment box.

Thank you,

J.C

Gift of Emotional Labor

Linchpin

I’m currently reading Seth Godin’s Linchpin. I bought this book with lot of anticipation. Now as I read, each point he explains resonates something novel in me. Often I get carried away by this book and share his concepts with my friends. But before I vocalize on his points to others, I should live the message.

He talks on ‘Emotional Labor’. To quote, When you do emotional labor, you benefit.

The act of giving someone a smile, of connecting to a human, of taking initiative, of being surprising, of being creative, of putting on a show – these are things that we do for free all our lives. (P 82 – Linchpin )

And then we get to work and we expect to merely do what we’re told and get paid for it.

So, what is Seth trying to convey in these pages. He is telling us to bring in human connection in work and not just work along the rules.

So, what values are you bringing to your work?

  • Are you charging your presence with positive light?
  • Are you doing that tad-bit extra emotion to your work?

So in these actions what your benefit. First, you benefit from the making and the giving.  And second , you benefit from the response of those around you.

When you develop the habit of contributing this gift, your coworkers become more open , your boss becomes flexible, and your customers become more loyal.

Texting While Driving

I don’t have a car, but I had a close call when I was using my mobile phone while riding my two-wheeler.

It happened like this…
I got a call while driving and used one hand to pull out mobile phone from my jean’s pocket. Just as I took it out of the pocket, I lost control of the phone. My hand juggled with the phone, while with one hand I was navigating the scooter. It was a kind-of dancing on the road effect, and lucky I regained both of it.It was a narrow escape for me, and I vowed never to take any calls while driving or stop the vehicle to see who is calling me.

Social Media Diva

What did I name her ‘Social Media Diva’.  She is the young, dark in complexion, boarder waist, round eyes, well built, with voluptuous figure and she works as a part time maid at our neighbor’s house.

Well, my crazy plan goes like this…

She is in her productive years, but she just gets meager wages of a maid. I like her to explore other possibilities in life, to work for a higher cause or earn more… What all job can she take or learn?

What if I teach her social media? Will she be able to tweet or post updates on Facebook or even become a social media diva?

Well I wonder if I can do something to elevate the life of ordinary people around, whom I find has immense potential to grow and do something of their own. What about me…can I grow my mediocre life to a great one?

Coming back to this sexy maid…Why does she waste her life doing menial stuff. Why is she wasting her prime time swabbing floor, or cleaning the dirt. What options does she have? What is she capable of …what all things would interest her?

Who will teach her a new skill? Will she be able to open a new life with a new skill set?

While writing this, It struck to my mind the character played by  Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady. Wonder If I’m behaving like the arrogant, irascible, misogynist professor of phonetics who believes that the accent and tone of one’s voice determines a person’s prospects in society.

And in my fancy mind, I think of her wearing skirt or trousers?

Have you felt like this towards anyone whom you’ve remotely met in your life? If yes, we have something in common and we should talk on it. Wouldn’t it be nice to meet someone who shares a similar thoughts, even thought it sounds crazy.
