Be wary of this Lonely Stretch – Domlur

Recently my partner was waiting to get an auto to visit a shop at Cambridge Layout. It was dark, around 8:00 in the evening. After waiting for a long time, she started walking towards Cambridge Layout. Just then a lady come in a scooter, stopped and offered her a lift. She insisted that it’s not safe to walk in this road at this time. She claims that there have been many incidents of chain snatching, etc in this road. .

With two minds she hopped on the scooter. This young lady then dropped at the shop, and even offered to wait till she finished her job. My partner was bowled over by this stranger’s generosity. Finally, she convinced her to leave as it will take more time.

While, such kind of random acts of  kindness is scare in busy cities like in Bangalore, it’s sometimes assures us that it’s still alive.

Lonely And Dim Lit Roads in Domlur
Just try an avoid using lonely strech of road, where there are no houses or shops, especially at night. It’s the road from Domlur ISRO colony till DCA quarters at Cambirdge Layout (near to the old Polo Bar).
